Pawn = The Pyro, because that's all Pyros do is run forward and shoot hurr hurr hurr.
Rook = The Soldier. Rocket jumps to anywhere within a straight line.
Knight = The Demoman, because it has a drunken movement pattern and can jump over other pieces.
Bishop = The Medic, because they're always running around diagonally. Or something, I dunno.
Queen = The Scout. Quickest unit in the game.
King = The Heavy. The slowest and most vulnerable class in the game.
