Ya, some people are just getting out of hand, but there are lots of Vintage hat deals for less then it would cost you to buy a non-tradable version from the Mann Co Store. Not that I would do such a thing...

Word is that Gentle Manne's Service Medal #4, the first one not owned by a Valve employee, sold for $500 cash. I've got the guy who now has in on my friend's list but haven't asked him if that is actually how much he paid yet.

I feel so inadequate. I just traded with a guy who idles 38 accounts. He has 30 Refined metal plus like 10 of the haunted metal (not to mention hats out the rear end) in one of his backpacks.

For some reason I doubt Valve will put TF2 on sale again for around $2 like they did last year...
