[quote="Novacaine";p="173604"]Sure they can! Most competative leagues exclude just the scout unlocks. It's their tournament, they can make whatever wacky rules they want!

I imagine when you're fighting 5 people, having crits won't be such a big deal. You kill what, two people? You can do that with an uber and save yourself the injuries.

Yeah, the whole 5v5 thing threw me off too. 5 seems reaaaallly small. 6 would be perfect.

Perhaps it's just an attempt to try and create a tournament where classes such as Snipers and Spies (And maybe even a Pyro) are excluded from a regular team formation to focus on the more important classes?

I can't see very many teams having a regular Sniper on, so it might create a different atmosphere not having to worry about the other team's incredible hardcore and intense Sniper that takes down half the team with a single bullet.

the main problem is, if you see an uber, you can get away much easier in 5v5, rather than if you saw a kritz, you will most likely be dead. plus, ubers cant cap intel or points, plus KK charges faster which is nice for smaller games. you can hit and run more often to keep enemies on their toes. Ubers would be helpful for entrenchment breaking, but since there is a 1 engie limit, i dont see that being a huge deal. The lack of Blautsauger and Uber Saw kinda sucks tho.

Unless of course, the enemy Medic pops their regular uber to counter your Kritz. Or if the enemy team breaks up and you end up only getting one or two kills.

Since there are probably going to be very few pushes going on, I see the regular uber being a bit more useful. You can use it as a means for survival whenever neccessary.

And as for the other Medic upgrade weapons, while I like the Blut better since it heals you (And also, I can tell if it hits by the +3's), I'm not phased by it. The Medic shouldn't be fighting anyway, so it shouldn't be that much of a problem.

I'm not playing, sorry about the confusion. I was saying I would if it didn't conflict with =USV='s principles/views .

hmmmm, valid points but I still disagree. some of it i believe depends on the map.

Killing two people is pretty nice, seeing as the other team will most likely have 3-4 attack classes. thats 50% of their pushing power dead, plus if they pop the uber, you can do what was previously stated and hightail it. if they pop their uber in a bad spot, that is a huge disadvantage for them and totally worth the KK. Ubers can also be moot if you are juggled by a pyro, whereas if you are kritzed, you can kill the pyro and be airblasted maybe once max.

Someone here needs to map a TF2 version of Final Destination, like when that one guy did a CTF version of Outset from Zelda: Wind Waker.

I'm so serious right now.

So basically just make an octagonal flat land with purple and black stuff swirling here and there?

Oh, and an abyss below.

Abiscuit, you've converted TF2 maps to Brawl. I'm sure you can do the reverse :P.

But in all seriousness, it seems like 90% of it will be skinning, which I could probably do if I still possessed the requisite software (I don't).
