I like the Wiki idea, but it would only work if more people used it.

If you think the wiki is a good idea then use it. Simple as that. It won't reach the people it needs to be successful unless people use it, so use it!

I've taken a shotgun approach and am using everything. TF2Items, this forums, this wiki, the steam forums, sometimes a little reddit... I managed to trade off 3 of my polycount weapons for reclaimed metal. Which is how I got most of them in the first place until I caved and bought the polycount pack.
