Too bad I was one of the few who didn't get an item. >.>
(It only gives out 23 presents)

Indeed, I was one who recieved one. It was only a Dalokoh's Bar, but the sentiment is very much appreciated

Later that game I found not one, but TWO Mann Crates. At the same time.

if you look the item given is non traded able and branded as a gift from the giver. Its kind of cool i got the gru witch i had already bought so i switched to the zork pair i think they may be sneakier.

Woo. My C&D and metal got eaten by the server and I didn't get my Eternal Reward. =(

Edit: After joining a server and killing myself, I got the crafted item.

Don't worry, most instances I've heard of that happening, you end up either getting your stuff back or you find the item you attempted to craft later. The servers seem a little flaky at the moment, just sit tight.

one medic picked up a crate and was to poor to open it. he gave it to me i opened it to find a vita saw. now Im gonna pass it back to one medic. I would rather have my medic have this than have it personally when ill never use it.

Can you find keys for crates? Do you still get random hat drops? I've said before I have no problem with the whole store thing, but I do think it's quite lame that you can get crate drops...and not be able to use them without $.

Ya those crates are definitely the most obvious cash grab by valve that there could be...you get an item from a random drop, but you can't use it, or even see what it is unless you give valve $2.49. Kinda makes it hard to believe that the store really is "just to prevent people from selling the stuff ebay for outrageous prices".

It might not be that bad if keys could also be found in random drops. Hopefully they will add keys to random drops soon.
