Re: Bioshock Infinite
I'm definitive gonna buy it on release cause I loved the last two. I don't have much of a problem with it not taking place in Rapture because when Bioshock 2 felt like it was reusing too much and lacked the "wow" factor. besides Colombia is just like Rapture in essence that its a fallen supposed paradise. The only thing that concerns me is that the tonics and vigors only get limited uses. I liked having my trusty Elektro-Bolt with me at all times in before. Also from what I've seen, and I could be mistaken, you can only hold two weapons at a time, which I would be very disappointing if it was true. So, I like the direction its going for in story, environment, and the choices you have to make in a battle, I'm just worried its gonna stray from the large array of abilities and weapons that made the first one so great.

Re: Bioshock Infinite
Very true, just kinda silly. And as for the rumors about only using a few weapons, I would be in support of that. Personally, I tend to have a favorite weapon or 2, for instance, in Bioshock 1, I loved the heck out of my pistol and shotgun, and really never used anything else. Same for plasmids, 2 or 3 favorites, never used much else.

Re: Bioshock Infinite
Ecclectic mix of retro and steampunk weapons in that video. Looked like a Mauser C96, an anachronistic STEN, a hand cranked gatling gun (hurr?), and some old school revolver and shotgun (I really don't know guns well). The manual Inspector Gadget/Batman arm thing looks pretty interesting. Hope it has as gripping a story as the first!

If you dont care about hats, that's a good deal. You could still get bioshock 1 and have money leftover.

Re: Bioshock Infinite
Besides the story I never found bioshock that interesting. The story was great in the first one, but nothing else really unique. Then they added a "boss" at the end of the game that was extremely stupid and easy.
Then the second one was so terribly ported I gave up on the franchise.

Re: Bioshock Infinite
So far I am enjoying the game and the world far more than I did the original Bioshock. I think it is an improvement in every way from the Original, at this point at least. I also like that there is no binary morality system that has zero effect on the outcome of the game in Infinite. The Little Sisters were so poorly implemented in the original that it almost entirely ruined the game for me.
