So, based on anyone who have played it and L4D.... if I was kinda getting tired of L4D, would you recommend it?

Eater of Potatoes, since 2008.
I am driven by two main philosophies: know more today about the world than I knew yesterday and lessen the suffering of others. You'd be surprised how far that gets you.

The only thing that is the same between the two is that there are zombies, and it's based around co-op survival.
The gameplay is different, it's not get from point A to point B. Each level is divided into waves of zombies, and after all the zombies are killed you get to the Trader. If the difficulty is high you can get 200 zombies in a single wave or only 24. You can also do a 10 wave games, or a simple 4 wave game.
For only $20 it is worth it.

Re: Killing Floor
It's more similar to survival mode than co-op L4D...but the map is much larger than a survival map, and while the selection is greater, you have much more limited access to weapons and ammo. On a 6 player game, the question isn't if I run out of ammo on my flamethrower, it's if I will run out of pistol ammo as well.

Well, a total of seven people from the Ville have Killing Floor. Also if no one knows there is a Ville Killing Floor group.
