Well, with the birth of your first kid (congrats by the way!!) think of it this way: you will be up at odd hours and not getting any sleep. You might as well stay up and get even less sleep. You will be in such zombie mode for a while that a bit of time playing won't make a difference. Or you can wait for a month or so until they work out the initial bugs and play the game when it isn't crashing.

Thanks Sparky for the sig picture!

Wait, one month after? Oh, you'll be fine. Kid will (hopefully) be sleeping through the night, things will get back to normal sleep wise, but during the little one's naps, you can play!

Having played the beta I can confirm the game can be played in exceedingly small chunks, 5min or less between checkpoints in the parts of the game included in the beta.
And congratulations on the baby!

The Mrs. knows about this? I tried the same thing with my wife. "Honey, Troy sounds like a great name don't you think?" (me being a big USC Trojan fan). The cold silence I was greeted with would have been fitting for a crypt.
I can confirm that while crafting items is beyond the normal infant's grasp, they do pick up quickly the nuances of acquiring exp and saving the known world. Its really a DNA thing.

I remember they made some pretty big changes in January. I just figured they end up reworking more stuff and would push it back to years end or worse...it is Blizzard after all.
I'm just happy it's coming out, I've had the collectors edition on pre-order for nearly a year.
