Re: Tabletop Shadowrun
I'm pretty flexible towards party role, if anyone else want to stake claims on areas of expertise.

Re: Tabletop Shadowrun
Ahh. 3rd keeps physical and stun on separate tracks, but the penalties from both tracks apply. So if you are at severe stun damage (6 boxes), you can still take a bunch of physical damage, but all your resistance tests are going to be with at least a +3 target number. Did they change the recoil rule...

Re: Tabletop Shadowrun
I have no clue what three tier combat means, and the Barret 121 was crap in SR3 (no concealability, impossible to get ammo for it), so no worries there. I'm used to the old 10 point condition monitor...I think they changed that, didn't they?

Re: Tabletop Shadowrun
If we are doing 4th, you would have to GM, crimson; I don't know the rules well enough. main reason I liked 3rd was because they completely changed the system when FASA licensed it off, but I am willing to give it a shot. I work most Saturdays, and I don't have a set finishing time. It is usually ea...

Saturday nights or Sunday during the day are best for me; I work Monday-Saturday.metacide wrote:I may be interested in this depending on time/duration. I have the SR4 books but I could get a hold of the SR3 books.

I was thinking Skype as a possibility, maybe combined with one of those virtual tabletop websites.

Tabletop Shadowrun
Now that I finally have a job that sees me home every night, I wanted to send up a balloon and see if there was any interest among The Ville for getting a Shadowrun group together. My preference is SR3, but really I would be game for anything.

Re: Happy St. Patrick's Day
I must drink beer. Beer is the mind killer. Beer is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my beer. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path. When the beer is gone, there will be nothing. Only I will r...

Re: Which has a higher melting point
Only place I can find in the US that sells Pic Woody's cutlery is Fairway Market in NY. Fortunately, they have an online store:

They also have wooden knives and spoons (all in the specialty items section).

Re: Which has a higher melting point
Corn forks are not actually made out of corn; they are made from a corn byproduct that melts at a temperature between 350 and 450 degrees fahrenheit. The problem with them is that they can become plastic at about 125 degrees, so if you are eating something hot with them, you probably won't get melte...

Re: Plane on a Conveyor Belt
The wheels have to roll on the ground before it takes off even if the engines propel the plane forward, don't they? Let me break it down into 4 easy steps here. Step 1: http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/4457/plane1.jpg The plane is standing still. There is no forward velocity on the plane, no backwa...
